The Shorehouse Seafood Restaurant
has been run by Jackie and Julian Pearce for the past 27 years
after Julian bought it from his late mother Essie.
Prawns, crab and lobster caught by Julian and his son Adam on
their own boat the Fulmar provide the shellfish for the restaurant
and all other seafood such as smoked salmon and smoked haddock
is supplied by Mackay Brothers of Lochinver.
In July 2000 Rick Stein visited the restaurant whilst in the
area filming his 'Seafood Lovers Guide' and commented, "This
is just what I'm looking for, somewhere that served what the local
fishermen are catching."
The restaurant holds a refreshment licence so that you can enjoy
a few of the wines and beers on offer. |
